Suggested from another topic.

Post here your experiences in Kansas City dining at restaurants that participate in i-Dine.

I'll start:

Melting Pot (Plaza): Relatively good fondue. New to the area. For a full meal for two, plan on $100 per couple.

Guadalajara Cafe (KCMO): Decent Mexican. Dine at the bar or carry-out for a quick lunch (food was delivered <10 minutes.) Or sit down.

Salty Iguana (Prarie Village): One of my favorite mexican restaurants. Reasonable prices.

Hereford House (3 locations): Good steak joint. Suitable to take business associates.

Corner Restaurant South (KCMO): Not much on decor, but good sandwiches. Ordered to go - hopefully will still earn points.

Uptown Diner (Leawood): Nice place for lunch or dinner. Take-out available. A favorite of my 4 year old.

O'Dowd's is a pub, pure and simple right off the Plaza. Go drinking with friends and run a tab then get cash.

Minsky's is the place my wife went for pizza growing up. Certainly not gourmet.

Rudy's this is a fun, has decent mexican and good drinks. I like it and I grew up and live in Houston surrounded by good mexican restraunts.

I'll post more next time I dine out with the inlaws.

Blue Moose in the Village - good pizzas, sandwiches. New place, very popular neighborhood hangout.

75th Street Brewery in Waldo - good microbrews, sandwiches.

(Note: both of these places are owned by the same people, and they have their own rewards card that gives you gift certs after you eat there a few times. Ask for details at the restaurant. There are other bars in this chain, but I haven't been to those yet.)

Thai Place - off of Santa Fe in Overland Park. EXCELLENT Thai food. Very crowded on weekends.

Jazz off of Barry Road up north - decent cajun food and good live music on weekends.

Lucky Brewgrille - Johnson Drive in Mission. Basic bar & grill. Good place to watch football (downstairs). Good bar grub.

Reverse - on the Plaza. Eclectic menu, mostly Tapas-style, but not traditional Tapas. Excellent wine list, good atmosphere. Happy hour is the best time to go: wine by the glass and tapas are all half-price.

La Bodega - Southwest Boulevard near downtown. A somewhat more authentic tapas experience, owned by the same people that own Reverse. Extremely popular - reservations recommended. Great atmosphere and very good food. Wine list is good, but not quite up to what Reverse has. Good sangria.

Minsky's: several locations, basic Pizza joint. The location up north near MCI serves beer and has quite a few TVs. In the Village it's a basic restaurant with no sportsbar component. I grew up with this pizza so I like it, but it might be a bit greasy for some.

Guadalajara - State Line & I-435. Decent Mexican lunch spot. Kind of down to earth: not at "corporate" as a Chevy's or On The Border.

Avalon - Weston, MO - 15 minutes northwest of MCI. Excellent food and wine served in a beautiful old house on historic Main Street in Weston. Interesting offerings such as venison, ostrich, etc. along with pretty good steak. Kind of upscale in a country sort of way. Weston is most enjoyable in the fall or at Christmastime (IMHO), but it nice year-round.

EDITED TO ADD: Not all of these restaurants offer iDine points on weekends. Check the website for the most up-to-date information (the little book they snailmail you may be out of date).

Now for my measly opinions:
75th Street Brewery: the pretzels, fish & chips, the turkey wrap (I don't remember the name of it), and the beer is all good. The chili is rather soupy, . Their fries are a little sweet (I don't know if it is the potato variety or the seasoning, but mmmmmm...)
Thai Place: agree with Pinniped.
Lucky Brewgrille: The sweet potato fries (offered w/ a burger or as an appetizer) are pretty good.
Boardroom Barbeque: Not bad. The nuclear wings are pretty hot (in a spicy sort of way).
O'Leary's Taproom: Used to be Barleys. Was much better as Barleys.
Boston Cheesesteak Co: Fast service. Good sandwiches.
BB's Lawnside BBQ: Good.
Tequila Harrys: Not bad Mexican food.
