I am looking for your help in finding a decent (nice) place for Sunday Champagne Brunch in Detroit area/Lansing area/Detroit Metro Airport area. The key factors are: champagne inclusive of price, decent food.
Please advise of any suggestions you may have. Thanks

Are you still looking for a place, or is this a closed issue?

Try the Gandy Dancer (former Michigan Central train depot) in Ann Arbor for Sunday brunch. I think Champagne is included and very good food. Their number is 734-769-0592

Also try the Ritz Carlton Dearborn. I believe they have a Sunday Brunch.

Thanks ladies and gents!
I checked all the places suggested, and still to no avail...they do not have champagne included with the brunch.
It almost became a challenge for me, to find a brunch spot with champagne included in MI...it seems like it juts doesn't exist in the Midwest. Here on the West Coast its everywehere...I wonder if thats a cultural difference, or we just have more lushes here http://www.flyertalk.com/dining/ftdining_forum/smile.gif

There's a new upscale restaurant in downtown Detroit name Sweet Georgia Brown that I know have champagne with their brunch. I'm not sure if you want to go that far East, but their phone number is 313-965-1245 or website: www.sweetgb.com (http://www.sweetgb.com)

One thing you should know that probably causes the lack of champagne brunches here is that it's illegal to serve alcohol before noon on Sundays in the State of Michigan. And yes, it is enforced. Silliest liquor-control rule I've ever heard of outside of Utah. Seems to me someone should challenge that one on separation of church and state grounds.

I just contacted Sweet Gergia Brown restaurant, and they do have a Champagne Jazz Sunday brunch! And they have champagne included! The prices are extremely reasonable too, its $30 per person!
As mentioned above, MI does have the alcohol serving laws (gotta love the conservative Midwest), but Sweet Gergia Brown serves champagne after 12pm, which is within the regulations.
Thanks to everyone for your advise!!!
