Can anyone recommend some vegetarian restaurants in Ohio.
Dragonfly. It's about 5 blocks South of Ohio State's campus. It's hard-core vegan (i.e. no honey/anti-meat pamphlets)and not really my thing It's trendoid-casual in terms of cuisine and atmosphere. I've eaten there twice and had good meals overall with a couple of memorable dishes. A better choice is:
Alana's. This is not a vegetarian restaurant; although the owner-chef has several vegetarian and vegan options nightly. It is in a funky old house about 3 blocks North of Ohio State's campus. It is one of the better fine dining restaurants in Ohio and has an exceptional wine list--300 to 400 selections with great depth in Burgundy and boutique California producers. All wines are priced near state minimum, which means only a 50% markup instead of the usual 200-300%.
