Hubby and I will be arriving Thursday (10/24) for an overnight prior to a trip Friday. Any recommendations for a moderately priced restaurant downtown? We like ethnic and seafood.

Try Cashion's Eat Place in Adam's Morgan. You'll not be disappointed.

Bistro du Coin on Connecticut Ave., NW (bet. R & S Sts.) is really worth a visit. The food, wine, and beer are all wonderful, yet modestly priced. The atmosphere is, for want of a better term, cool.

I know it is passed but if you like an ethnic food, why don't you try Ethiopian? As far as I know, DC has numerous Ethiopian cuisine which is very hard to try in other part of the U.S.

Adms Morgan is always nice to go and there is "Zed" in M street too (close to Mognolian embassy).

Kopi-Tiam is my facourite Malysian restaurant in M st between 18th and 19th.

You could try some nice chinese in China town too.

Boy, we should really have Washington DC forum! http://www.flyertalk.com/dining/ftdining_forum/smile.gif

A fun DC place which has an all-around menu is The Front Page off Dupont Circle.
