Hello All,

Taking the sharing cue from Sweet Willie...n.b Toronto is my home town...

Here is a new favorite of my wife and I tried fall 2002. This was on the recommendation of friends. I've done my expense account tour of steakhouses in the U.S. (favorite is Gibson's) so I am not totally unschooled. Took her there to go to an authentic steakhouse (my joke is if you have to order sides separately you are in a 'steakhouse').

It is the standard steakhouse by my books that is in CDN dollars and not a zoo like some of the ORD places. The decor is very tasteful and comfortable but not laidback.

Food - it has the gamut of steaks and chops but my ribeye was quite good and I have only heard good things about the steak. However I fell in love with the crab cakes! The staff are professional but not as friendly as Gibson's.

I made my reservations late in the week for a weekend dinner and couldn't get a dining room table but I got in the 'bistro' (i think it was called this) in front of the kitchen area. This was really fun but not romantic. Got to see stuff being done and both my wife enjoyed it.

To Meat (but here Crab Cakes too)!!!

Oh, the contact info:
Harbour Sixty

Great building but location is a little strange as it is in the middle of a parking lot but you can walk down to the lakefront if nice weather.

Have you been to the re-launched JW's Steakhouse at the Marriott Eaton Center?
