This is a little roast chicken place that does churrasco-style chicken. A Portuguese-style of BBQ chicken that they serve with spicy sauce. Mmmm, my onyl experience of this style is with N.America versions but I found this Toronto one quite good. It is located in St. Lawrence Market which is a historic food market. It is within walking distance of the downtown core of Toronto.

Churrasco's is just inside the entrance of the South Market buidling (on the outisde you will see the Paddington Pump restaurant sign)

I've never bought the whole roast chicken but the chicken sandwiches are great. They are pre-made with lettuce/tmoato/mayo/spicy sauce and mixed white/dark chicken meat on a soft kaiser. The pre-assemble so it is on the soggy side (cf sloppy joe) but it is worth it.

There are chicken rissois. Rissois is a Portuguese snack which a stuffed wheat-dough wrap breaded and deep fried, typically filled with seafood. The rissois here are filled with shredded chicken and white sauce (bechamel?) and to die for. The wrapper is not doughy or chewy but soft and tender (bordering on delicate).

They have Portuguese tarts available also which i've had a couple times. Not bad but I'd gone inside to a place called Future Bakery and get some rugella instead.
