Nice atmosphere but the pricing could be a bit cheaper. After all not everyone is born with a silverspoon...

I can't speak highly enough of the Redgum Restaurant at the Manly Wharf. It specializes in indigenous Aussie foods. And it does an excellent job with them! The food was excellent. And, it was one of the few Aussie restaurants where the service was excellent.
It wasn't cheap, as we spent $120 AUD for two for an elaborate lunch, so I wouldn't do this every day. But that meal is one I won't forget for a long time! And I'm looking to going back there at Christmastime.
BTW, they have a website, including menu, at http://www.redgumrestaurant.com.au/ And, no I don't work there!

There is a fantastic fish n' chip place at the beach end of the Corso, can't remember its name.
