Dining companion wanted something other than the more informal, throw the bones on the ground places I drag him to, so we took a taxi to Tanjong Pajar Rd after a fairly hilarious exchange between the taxi driver and doorman of the Hyatt using the so-called bridge language, English. Let's just say that it's not only North Americans that feel that language comprehension will be improved by ratcheting up the volume.
Food was decent and not expensive for the class. Atmosphere was pleasant (though I couldn't throw stuff on the floor). We stayed with the "signature" dishes. You may want to do a quick Google search to get all the details of what's on offer.
It's probably worth sampling for those of you that are looking for something other than the usual styles we talk about here.
