I like eating curry and here's my favorite curry place in San Francisco:

Naan 'n' Curry
478 O'Farrell St

a few blocks from Union Square, small storefront, very simple (order your food, grab a plate and silverware and go get yourself a pitcher of water from the back fridge while you they cook it up).

Would be interested in hearing of other places with good curry. I hear talk of Breads of India in Berkeley but have never tried it.

My favorite for Indian in SFO is Scenic India on Valencia (whoops... haven't added it to my site yet).

On a related food note, there is a nifty Indian ice cream place at New Bombay Bazaar, 548 Valencia Street (16th), 415.431.1103. Kesar pista (has saffron, I think), fig (one of my favorites), badam kesar pista, chicku, lychee and mango are among the flavors.
