The Adobo Grill serves self-proclaimed "upscale" Mexican fare. I just know I've enjoyed the meals here. Last entrée I had was a pork loin fajita, which was quite tasty, proper amount of smoky/spiciness.

Two unique things about Adobo Grill is that they have a tequila sommelier. I love tequila and learned quite a bit from this guy who also recommended some types I would not have tried.

The other item is that if desired, Adobo will make guacamole tableside, which allows you to control the amount of the ingredients added. Make mine w/extra garlic PLEASE.

The Adobo is not great, but for me has been consistently good. It is also right next door to Second City and a ½ block from Zanie's Comedy Club.

I like margaritas, but Zagat online has reported that Adobo Grill has a new $50 margarita, made with limited edition versions of both Grand Marnier and Herradura Suprema.

to paraphrase Travolta from a certain movie,

"did you say $50 margarita?!?"

Takes a sip.....

"that's a F_______in' good margarita!"

It has been open for a couple of months now. I prefer Buckown to the Oldtown location myself. I love their empanadas!
