I've enjoyed Lulu's many times, meals are usually very good.
Recently had an outstanding dish of salty squid. Squid were flash fried in a light batter that was very salty/black peppery. With the two dipping sauces, this dish was terrific. Squid was very tender.

"On Davis Street in the heart of downtown Evanston is Lulu's restaurant. Highly acclaimed for both its decor and cuisine, Lulu's offers a variety of Asian dishes; Thai, Chinese, Korean, Vietnamese & Japanese specialties. Lulu's restaurant also offers catering, delivery and take out.
Lulu's is rated as one of the "Top 100 Bangs For The Buck" in the Zagat survey of Chicagoland restaurants.
Dim Sum tastefully prepared and elegantly presented comes to you along with the restaurant's noodle soups, noodle stir-fries and very popular, very large, entree salads.
Over half our menu entrys are vegetarian or are available without meat. There is no MSG in our preparations. Food that is beautiful to look upon, with clear yet subtle & unique flavors, that at the same time healthy and life prolonging.
Join us every Sunday afternoon (11:30 - 3:00) and Monday Night (5:30 - 9:30) for our all you can eat special. All the Dim Sum & then Sum you could possibly eat.
There are no reservations so just come on by. We are open for lunch and dinner.
