We'll be spending the weekend in Sacramento and heard that the Firehouse was one of the better restaurants there. Since we're not doing much on New Years Eve, I'm not too worried about the cost, as long as the food is really good and the atmosphere pleasant. Anyone have any personal experiences?

Heaven's sakes! I ate there on a business trip in 1972 and am delighted to hear that it's still open. However, I'm afraid that my opinion wouldn't be very current!
