Restaurant Associates gives New York City the gift of dining out.
Dining out has always been one of the favorite pastimes of New Yorkers. Now, to encourage them to resume their gourmet habit, major restaurant group Restaurant Associates is offering fifty-dollars towards dinner weeknights at their landmark restaurants, including those at Rockefeller Center, Madison Square Garden and the Met Opera.
Nick Valenti, President and CEO of Restaurant Associates, said “It’s our gesture to our fellow New Yorkers and a gift to lift everyone’s spirits. Our Mayor, Rudy Giuliani has encouraged New Yorkers to go out and enjoy the attractions of our city. We’re contributing to their night out by giving them the first fifty dollars towards an enjoyable dinner. So go ahead, dine out New York!”
By simply e-mailing their full name and mailing address, to dineoutny@restaurantassociates.com
New Yorkers will be sent a letter of welcome worth $50 from Nick Valenti that can be exchanged towards dinner Monday through Friday at the following restaurants:
The Sea Grill at Rockefeller Plaza.
Rock Center Café at Rockefeller Plaza.
Tropica, MetLife Building, 200 Park Avenue
Naples 45, MetLife Building, 200 Park Avenue
Café Centro, MetLife Building, 200 Park Avenue

A reservation has to be made and two main courses must be ordered per table. This offer expires October 5th or when 25,000 requests have been received, whichever happens soonest. Certificates are redeemable until November 21st 2001 and may not be extended beyond this date. Only one gift will be sent per household.
