I've been doing Sushi since 1981 and throughly enjoy it.

I've been doing Sashimi for two years now and find there is nothing like it anywhere for putting a certain smile on my face (Wasabi!!!)

I've discovered Edamame this year and can't get enough of this stuff!

Why is Edamame so addictive? It's just soybeans, fer chrissake...

Kinda nutty, but not pasty like other beans.

For me, it's the "tastes great and wow it's good for me!" syndrome. At our regular sushi stop, the waitress knows to bring another bowl out.

Thanks for the topic, oddly enough this subject came up during luch two weeks ago and no one bothered to ask the waitress. I've had edamame served both hot and cold, however, what is the correct way of serving it? Should it hot or cold?

Hot. Most certainly HOT.

A co-worker told me abotu the following:

You can buy a frozen 4-pound bag of Edamame at Costco for like 6 bucks!

Follow the easy instructions on the bag and you're in Soybean Heaven.

I tried some frozen Edamame from an Asian market but it was thawed and refrozen or something -- too mushy.

The Cosco ones are great! Shared a pound of them with my wife this evening.

Try sprinkling them with toasted sesame seeds and kosher salt! WOW!!
