Are Continental and International Cuisine considered the same?

Well, for me they're not. I've always considered Continental cuisine to refer to the type of food and meals you would eat in Europe (i.e. the Continent), especially more traditional French and Italian fare. There's also the "European" or "Continental" meal plans offered by hotels that include only the continental breakfast, e.g. coffee/tea, juice and breads.
International for me would be from anywhere in the world.
