I had a chance to use FAT when I went to a conference in late Feb..... imagine some 8,000 people converging on FAT for a conference. http://www.flyertalk.com/airports/ftairports_forum/smile.gif Many flew from the east... needless to say, I was bumped on the way there and the way back. http://www.flyertalk.com/airports/ftairports_forum/smile.gif A buddy made $800 on America West... and one guy spend the day to earn $1400 on UA. http://www.flyertalk.com/airports/ftairports_forum/smile.gif I tried in vain to spend $30 in meal vouchers at the single sit-down cafeteria/restaurant-- good thing I was there with 21 people I knew. http://www.flyertalk.com/airports/ftairports_forum/smile.gif

My experiences of FAT are that a friend designed their fire sprinkler systems and it was one of my solo stops. FAT and Los Banos seem to be very popular on solo routes in the Bay Area. I was flying out of the old Fremont airport which sadly has long been under Milpitas refuse.

No FAT in the fire!
