Does anyone know how much the cab ride would cost from HNL to the Hilton for 2 adults???
The website for the Hilton Hawaiian Village says to expect $30, but that seems high, as that's what I usually pay to get all the way past the other (far) end of Waikiki. The fare always seems to be the same for one or two passengers, but sometimes there's a small additional charge for lots of bags.

Details information about cabs and also the Airport-Waikiki Express. The express is a state-contracted shuttle service and costs $8 one-way or $13 round-trip and will drop you off at your door in Waikiki. Waikiki->HNL trips require a reservations. From the airport does not... is a good economical way to travel and avoid the cabs...
Also, in my experience, cabs usually don't cost $30. They're usually around $25 to Waikiki depending on traffic and route.

The cost for taxis to HHV is almost $30, depends on trafic, each way.
For two person it is much cheaper to use the set shuttle services that pick up just outside the bagage pickup area, center island. It is a set fare, they all charge the same price. Granted they make stops along the way at other hotels. So it just depends how long you want to take to get there.
We had six of us so we got a limo-taxi, cost us $29 to HHV and $20 (had $5 off coupon from driver) on return using same driver. (The shuttle service driver told us to use the taxi, much cheaper he said.)
