Can somebody help me with information about affordable dayrooms at a hotel near JFK with shuttle service? I'd really want to take a shower in privacy before departing from JFK to a flight to Europe. But for one or two hours I wouldn't want to spend more than around 40$.

You should look into buying an airlines lounge day pass. Those usually cost around $40-50. Some airlines (top-of-the-line) have lounges with showers. They give you the towels and other goodies. Not to also mention that you'll get to eat some snacks and such before your international flight.

If you don't wish for that, your best bet is to go to Expedia and find hotels around JFK, and then call them directly.
