Living about 15 traffic free minutes from the Airport is a dream. As is the cheap short term parking. Parking within 100 yards of the terminal is great. Being an AA fan, I do find myself in Chicago a lot. I can pick up a flight to anywhere from ORD, and it beats the heck out of the EWR-JFK-LGA nightmare.

For the uninitiated, AA only fly’s to Chicago from SWF.

I'm a fan of SWF that only lives 10 minutes from the airport and right in the flight line.

I have to say I hate going to EWR, JFK and LGA but sometimes find the price differences big. Lately for convenience and price, my airport of choice has been Albany. For $100 less, I'll take the drive and save some money.

Wish SWF would get some more flights and airlines in. A few years ago it was about 30 arrivals and departures a day. I think it's down to about 23 now. Hopefully the new owners can do something about it.

I live in the Peekskill area, and use SWF & HPN as it's about the same distance for me either way. (See my earlier rant/post on HPN)
