According to Weather channel as of 7:30 am EST;

DCA is closed
IAD has one runway open and are "attempting" to keep one runway open

12" snow forecast by Noon today with up to 30" in some Northern VA and Southern MD locations with 18" probably more reasonable for most locations today.

This is a no brainer suggestion; but I would do two things if I was flying in and out of this area today

1. Call first
2. Leave (if you're departing WAS) real real early
