The disturbing thing about this article is that the relative of the person with alzheimer's could not find the time/money/whatever to travel as a companion? Or "hire" someone to fly as a companion? Make some sacrifices OK!

I know there are a zillion excuses out there, but c'mon, this person is not a package. What if, for example, the pax decided to get up during landing? or try the cockpit door? who knows - anything could happen. As the article mentioned, what if there was an unscheduled landing? Then what? What a sad article?
