Since he or she made the connection, I can't see Continental taking it seriously. I'm also not sware of what violation was committed? I'm also confused, since it is my understanding that the ADA does not apply to airlines. I think there is DOT rules which are similar to the ADA.
Will there be any discussion?

There will be discussion if we spread the word throughout FT about the existence of this forum. Which I am going to be doing over the next few days, and which I recommend other readers do, too.
As for applicability of the ADA to airlines, that's a very good question. I don't know the answer.
I do not know of airlines ADA responsibilities either. I did however wish to speak to someone at CO who could address the problem but have been unsuccessful thus far.

My brother in law had an AWFUL experience with Delta a few years ago. He is a quadriplegic flying from Dallas to NYC with a motorized wheelchair, plus other necessities of his life in checked baggage.
There wasn't anyone to help him onto the plane. When they got someone, they dropped him into the seat causing bruising. They dented his wheelchair AFTER it took forever for them to get it to him so he could deplane.
To add insult to injury ALL OF HIS LUGGAGE was lost. No, not misdirected. TOTALLY LOST. He never got it back.
It took several months, but Delta gave him some free tickets and other restitution for his ordeal.
I can get more information if you would like.
