What do you do with a Sit n Stroll when it does not fit cleanly into a coach seat?

DL was kind enough to free another seat gratis for my lap baby so we did not gate checjk it. Sit n Stroll was barely too big to fit in coach 767 seat because of the fixed armrest.

The FA's didn't mind that seat was not fully down.

Ideas? Put something underneath?

Hello,
I don't have an answer but I'd like to echo your question...
I'll be taking my baby on JAL for her first international trip.
I am planning on using a Sit N Stroll carseat/stroller for an upcoming trip. We will be flying on JAL and their economy seats are sized for skinny butts. According to the airline the JAL seats range between 16-17" wide, much narrower than the Sit N Stroll (or any carseat for that matter).
So we will avoid the bulkhead and the immovable armrests.
My question is: has anyone flown JAL with a Sit N Stroll (or other wide-base carseat) and did it fit? Did you get any hassles from the staff?
thanks,
Jeff
