First the good news:

The property is very beautiful and relaxing as described in other posts. Elegant, spacious and the grounds and gardens are really enchanting.
The room ( and I am assuming it was their standard room) was extremely spacious and comfortable with an incredible view of the gardens. And this was from the 2nd floor. So I imagine it only gets better the higher up you are.
The not so good news:
The front desk response time both at check in and subsequently twice over the phone. There was an air of chaos and the front desk personnel seemed very harried and rushed. On the phone, each time I was put on hold right away for about 8-10 minutes.
While the room was in beautiful, the bathroom was not in a very hygenic condition. Once I got through to the front desk they did however send someone after about 20 minutes to take care of it.

We were there for the Evening Under the Stars concert and a picnic dinner was part of the package. The dinner was quite disappointing as was the food ordered from Room Service.

All in all, while some aspects of our stay were disappointing the lovely surroundings were certainly captivating and we really liked the elegantly furnished spacious rooms!

Interesting comment, I too really liked this property, but also found the front desk (on check in & out) a bit overwhelmed! The other thing I found odd was the position of the tv in the bed room. Rather than facing the bed, it was along side of it, which made for a bit of an awkward view.
