Tough question - first of all, it is a one of a kind - very unique and a bit tackey in an overdone kind of way, but really well worth the experience. Everything is a duplex suite with some fun technology. Worth $700 - Easily. Easy on the eyes - well, perhaps not. Make sure you arrange for their pickup services at the airport - speeds your way through immigration. Personally, I like Dubai, so I always think going to the Burj al Arab is fun - but it is a bit strange.

You can get some great package deals to Burj Al Arab - a recent one was ex-LHR, business class flights on EK and 3 nights at Burj Al Arab for GBP1,199 if I remember correctly, through www.airnet.co.uk (http://www.airnet.co.uk)
