Can anyone tell me of their experiences with this property? I am thinking of taking a few days of R&R there as anniversary trip. It seems that they have terrific deals in the summer (no one wants to be there in the summer I guess?). They have a buy two nights, get the third free and pay with an AMEX card and get $100 resort credit. All in all, not bad, as the least expensive room is about 225 per night. I can say that the only experience that I had with FS was in Maui, where we had a great time. Any help would be apprciated.

It is a nice property, but NOT FS Maui. It was not built as a Four Seasons and is not up to the standards in terms of physical plant. Service is, of course, excellent. Also, this summer rate you quote is exceptionally - I am normally paying over $500 there in the Winter. I know the property very well - email me if you want any more detailed information.

This is a very interesting promotion and I have booked for three nights in early August.
The name of the deal is "Under the Sun," and as jms8090 has indicated, it is third night free for Sunday thru Thursday arrivals at a rate of $225 with a $100 resort credit (I don't see the Amex requirement in the brochure that they sent to me).
Thru Sept 30 they are also having two for one restaurant promotions every day for lunch and on Tuesdays and Fridays for dinner. This promo is called "Table for Two."
And the kicker as found in the brochure is that "the public spaces...are now 100% wireless." You'll never miss a day of FlyerTalk at this hotel.
Bed, food, the web, a rubdown, and oh yes, the ocean. What more can you ask for?

The FS Palm Beach was not built as a FS. It was taken over by the 10? years ago. It's a very nice property and well run, probably a bit more casual then most FS. There is also a nice Ritz Carlton nearby, also on the beach but much more formal. Depending on what you want and where you want to be, you might look into the new Ritz Carlton, Key Biscayne (Miami).
