I did a gay walking tour yesterday in London.

The tour is run by Kairos (an LGBT support charity) and costs £5 per head - all of which goes to the charity as the guide is a volunteer.

The tour leaves St Martin-in the Fields Church in Trafalgar Square at 3pm every Sunday and takes 3-3.5 hours to go through Soho to the Admiral Duncan Pub (the site of the anti-gay bombing a few years back).

Well worth the money and I'd recommend it to anyone.

Thanks sjharte for the suggestion. We'll be in London the first weekend in July and this sounds like a fun idea.

Speaking of which, there is a very good walking tour of the Castro put on by a woman named Trevor Hailey. I have taken a number of people on this tour and they've all enjoyedit. So have I, even multiple times.

I did the Castro tour a few years ago - and highly recommend it. It included a lunch stop, so naturally I was pleased http://www.flyertalk.com/travel/fttravel_forum/wink.gif
