'had a laugh reading some of the past posts and please forgive any redundancy. Partner and I are going to London 5/22 and are staying at Sheraton Park Lane...any comments on this hotel, location, proximity to shows, bars...(party boys when out of the South...)

Recommendations on must do's...?

Then off to Bath, England. I have stayed at the Royal Crescent before and hear the Bath Spa Hotel may be a bit nicer...it is his birthday and he is worth spoiling...suggestions...?

it is his first trip to UK and 'want to make it special...

The Sheraton Park Lane has some older rooms that they refer to as "classic". I suspect they give these rooms to travelers who have managed to get a big discount, such as through Priceline, or other sources. Be sure to get one of the newer, redecorated rooms. Other than that, it's a good location for tourists.

I wonder if you might get more responses if you were to post this inquiry in the London destination forum, which appears just a few lines below the GLBT forum?
