Does anyone know what is happening with this hotel? Before 9/11, I had tried to make reservations for a trip in November and was told they were fully booked. A couple of weeks before my trip I called again, thinking that there might have been cancellations, and could not get through. I later found that the owner had died. When I was in Amsterdam I walked by and noticed that there were lights on inside.

This was one of my favorite gay hotels - one of those places that sparkled, it was so clean. I would think someone with a little money and experience could do very well in that location. Has anyone heard whether it will ever re-open?
