Hello everyone.

This isn't a post to ask questions more to talk about my favorite destination in Europe. This is a mini report based on my experiences there.

Prague is a lovely city and has a big airport, that I personally haven't ever been too. I have been twice and flew into Munich and then took the train to the station (which I love to say, but can't spell).
It takes about 6-7 hours, all of which I fall asleep for usually. I learned that you can take those train seats and make them into a little bed and are quite comfortable.

One thing to keep in mind about Prague. It is CHEAP!

One place I totally recommend to eat at is called Radost FX. The food is all vegetarian and my meal of a margarita, appetizer, and main course cost all of $8 including the tip.

The first time I went there I stayed at a sketchy hostel called Libra Q, all of 15 dollars per night.

My second visit I spent four nights at Arco Guesthouse.

These people are very nice! I made friends with David (bartender), Daniel (cook) and the front desk girl.

One night they dragged me out to Praha 5 to some club called Angel. I was attacked by a giant slovakian lesbian. Only the front desk girl spoke any english and I often found myself asking for help translating. Mixed drinks were $1 and beer about 35cents, good money to them, and I managed to treat everyone to drinks. One interesting thing is that when you walk into the club they lock the door and give you a red slip of paper. The bartender then tallies drinks and at the end of the night you pay before they unlock the door.

Things to do:

Take the Tram to the castle and spend the day walking around the castle area and Stare Mesto on that side of the river. Prices are even cheaper on this side of the river since they are outside the tourist area of the city.

Spend a day walking around Staromestska Square, go into shops and enjoy the weather. It's really easy to check email at "Bohemian Bagel".

Advice: Buy a train ticket even though the metro costs all of 20cents they do actually check. I almost got a fine once, but managed to dig the ticket out of my pocket.

That's it for now! Ill write more to this later, but I'm late for a meeting...that's what I get for reading flyertalk at work.

Always better to do little else at work! I have had to start distinguishing between "working" and "attending the office".

Er...how's the 'action' there?

Am thinking of meeting a friend there in early June.

It is tempting to say the least.
