I'm really new at this and with the entire board focusing in on what moderators should do, I started to delete this URL as a commercial post (it's a travel agency), but I've thought better of it.

Sorry for the confusion.

Don't forget www.damron.com (http://www.damron.com) as well.

Personally, I find www.outandabout.com (http://www.outandabout.com) very good. You do have to pay for the city reviews (about $10) but some of them are really worth it (IMHO).

I think we should encourage people to post specific trips. I have been all over europe and have stayed at gay and gay friendly places, and I am sure there are others that could make specific accomodation advice.

Give me a few weeks and I can post about my upcoming trip to Key West!

I'd like to hear about that. I went there last year and stayed at "La Concha" (2 girls and an ex b/f, fun actually)

I really liked that place with a pool bar. Orleans house or something like that.

I've subscribed to Out and About for years. When you renew you get 2 free City Reviews plus as a subscriber you get some specific free monthly City Reviews. (eg for March it included Palm Springs). Another source I've found recently is www.purpleroofs.com (http://www.purpleroofs.com) (sorry never figured out hyperlinks)

I stayed in a gay place in Dublin once (Frankie's Guest House) because I was away for a romantic weekend and we were afraid that a mainline place would be difficult (I was only 25 at the time - a mere boy!).

The place was horrible and we spent as much time away from it as we could.

Gay places can sometimes be horrible and sometime suse the fact that they are gay to offer poorer quality to a "captive" market.

There are loads of exceptions to this though.

One major exception..arco guest house in prague. I loved them! They took me clubbing, helped me find food, and generally were wonderfully nice.
