I was in AC on a quick 5 hour tour bus ride and only was able to see Caesar's and Bally's. Being a craps player, I was surprised that midweek during the day all craps tables were $10 minimums. Does anyone know any casinos in Atlantic City that maintain $5 craps tables on weekdays/weekends?
Thanks!

Not certain, but probably the Claridge. They are a smaller hotel and may cater more to the smaller bettors.

Search around here….. http://www.state.nj.us/casinos/ccactndx.html . At one time the NJ casinos were required to have so many 2 or 5 dolla tables, but I think those nice days are gone for good. I did see a (lone) 5 dolla Black Jack table at Show Boat recently.
The table was really crowded, ie 3 rows deep, with polyester clothed seniors. BTW the polyester doesn’t show the wrinkles but the seniors actually did.
Maybe NJ has some Indian casinos. They are often cheaper.

The Trop, perhaps.
Bear in mind that unlike Vegas, where you've got at least a couple of dozen casinos contending for customers, the market in AC is relatively captive, so be glad you were not playing on a weekend ($20 hands on up from there).
OTOH, I was at the Trop about 3 weeks ago, and the "high limit" table on a Saturday nigth started at a merre $50/hand for Blackjack. And I was on a roll http://www.flyertalk.com/travel/fttravel_forum/smile.gif.
