The historic 40-story Carbide and Carbon Building in Chicago will be the home of the newest Hard Rock Hotel, the Orlando-based company announced last week. The exterior of the art deco tower will be preserved and restored, and the interior will be renovated to include 385 rooms, a lobby, coffee shop and lounge area.
