We are flying to Miami in early April, then driving up to Augusta, Georgia for the Masters' Tournament.

We are doing a couple of overnights along the way and are thinking of spending a night in St. Augustine, maybe out at World Golf Village. Can anyone comment on the Village and the Hall of Fame, are they worthwhile visiting? Is St. Augustine worth an overnight - what about the historic district?

Also, any suggestions for interesting things along the way would be appreciated. The Space Coast area might be interesting, also we will do another overnight in either Charleston or Savannah. I have visited both these cities before, but have never been into Florida.

Is scenic highway A1A in Florida difficult or slow to drive?

Would not drive A1A all the way from Miami. It can be very slow in parts. Drive the West Palm beach part if you can to see how the other side lives. (Kennedy Compound, Trumps, etc.) Drive up from Jupitor north on A1A too as far as you want to go is ok. St. Augustine is cool, lot's of quirky shops and interesting things to see. Sounds like you like Golf so you should enjoy the Hall of Fame and Village. Other than that, not much there.

Thank you!

The funny thing is... I don't even play golf, all the golf stuff is for my boyfriend!
