I will be at this hotel for Christmas in what they call a Junior Suite. Does anyone have any experience with this property?

Thanks

I haven't stayed there, too rich for my blood. However, it is a grand old hotel. The bar is nice, but you can no longer get coffee service there in the morning, bummer for the rest of us who just wanna look like they can afford to stay there. http://www.flyertalk.com/travel/fttravel_forum/smile.gif

I would suggest visiting the cafe across the road, SIP Babylone for excellent pastry and hitting the la maison du chocolat right next door.

It is right across the street from the sevres-babylone metro, so easy access to most points in paris.

Enjoy your stay.

Very nice Hotel - Very nice location (St. Germain/Montparnasse)
I have not stayed there - too expensive for me. I have been in the Brasserie Lutetia.
That's what Michelin says:
" Built in 1907, this famous luxury hotel on the Left Bank has lost none of its sparkle : retro elegance, Lalique lamps, sculptures by César, Arman, etc. Refurbished rooms."

Have fun.

I stayed at the Lutetia in Novermber, 1996. It's a decent hotel, although I don't think it lived up to its hype - the Sonia Rykiel designed rooms were nothing spectacular, in my opinion. I had a regular room though - I'm sure the suites are much nicer. BTW, I got a pretty decent deal by booking through Northwest vacations at that time.
