Does anyone know of a currency exchange machine downtown, preferably Opéra or Gare du Nord areas, that accepts notes from the other EU countries? I'll be in Paris in a few weeks, and have a bunch of notes from EU countries that I'd like to exchange (I don't expect to be in any other EU locale before 28-feb-2002).
If you do know of such a machine, do you recall if it also accepts coins?

As I often enjoy a conversation with myself, I'll answer my own question:
According to a web site (the url of which I've already misplaced), foreign currency change machines are available at 103 and 91 av des Champs-Elysees, 28 rue de Rivoli, and 27 Boulevard St.-Michel.
Edited for reasons that have nothing whatsoever to do with this topic. --Wideman

LOL! Sorry, i didn't have the answer to this. I would have suggested the Bank of France, but it seemed you were set on the machine (maybe you'll be using it during non-banking hours?).
Have a good trip.
In the St Lazare train station (near Opéra) or the Gare du Nord train station, you will find currency exchange offices. They are opened in the evening or on weekends, so no need to find a machine (strangely in France we have machines for a lot of things, but few for currency exchange !).
