I received in the mail yesterday an offer to subscribe to "Paris Notes," the newsletter for people who love Paris. I have never heard of this publication which is published 10 times a year and has a subscription price of $39. I wonder if anyone has any experience with this publication. They say that with each publication, comes a password which allows the subsciber to access their website and download up to two years of back issues.

Do any of you Flyer Talkers have any experience with this publication and, if so, what do you think of it? Is it worth the price (sounds kind of steep to me)?

I do not know that publication but wonder why anyone would want to pay $39 for something that contains information easily available on line - for nothing

Check out http://www.paris-anglo.com and their free bi-weekly email newsletter. It's quite good and the website has a lot of interesting stuff. Best part: it's free http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/smile.gif

I subscribed a few years ago but did not renew. Although there was some good info, much of it was not interesting to me and I didn't think the publication was worth the price.
