Can anyone tell me what the big deal is with the men's toilets at Felix?

You see the HKG Island out the window on the top floor while doing the deed http://www.flyertalk.com/travel/fttravel_forum/smile.gif

Floor-to-ceiling windows with the urinal placed right in front. It's like your peeing straigt into the harbor from 48 stories up.

Just a little note here FYI: My friends went to the American Club in one of the highrises on Hong Kong island. Over there's a pair of mounted 300X binoculars which were powerful enough for them to distinguish the different brands of furniture in the rooms of the Intercontinental Hong Kong on the Kowloon side.
So for those of you who tend to be exhibitionists who want to "let it all hang out", ....... http://www.flyertalk.com/travel/fttravel_forum/biggrin.gif http://www.flyertalk.com/travel/fttravel_forum/biggrin.gif

Actually, the famous urinal window faces straight at Nathan Road, on the Kowloon side, from the 28th floor. Its like peeing into mainland China. If you want to pee on the island, try the second floor bathrooms at the MO.

Aren't the windows shaded so you can see outside but not from the outside in?

The restaurant and bar areas have blinds that probably cut out people from the island side peeping inside with high powered binoculars. The bathroom window does not. As to whether it is tinted on the outside, I don't know, but I wouldn't be surprised.
