Hi,

I'm a reporter with a national magazine working on a consumer travel story and I'm wondering if anyone here has tried this web site (www.airportparkinglots.com). Also, Expedia is running a free airport parking promotion with Airportdiscountparking.com, and I'm wondering if anyone has used that, too. I'm interested in getting any real travelers' experiences with these services. Additionally, if you have any particular airport parking tips you'd like to share, either general ones or ones that apply to specific airports, I'd love to hear about them.
Thanks, and I look forward to hearing from you!

(Please excuse if you've seen this twice. I thought this might be an appropriate place to bring up these online parking sites. Thanks.)

As someone else pointed out to you elsewhere, you will have far more replies if you post this subject on the Omni Forum in the Miles section, and even I will have a nice reply if you post it there.

MisterNice

ps: FWIW the site you mention has nothing to do with bidding etc

The post is not off topic for Online BOOKING and Bidding. If this category were limited to bidding sites, Hotwire would be off topic because there is no bidding, and Hotwire is listed as one of the online sites appropriate for discussing in this forum.

Let's not discourage reporters from coming here as long as they accurately report. They have served the needs of many a FlyerTalker quite well.

Please correct me (and you seem to "correct" a full 99.8% of the people who respond to YOUR) Personal Bidding Bulletin Board, but what in the & http://www.flyertalk.com/travel/fttravel_forum/thumbsup.gif%$# http://www.flyertalk.com/travel/fttravel_forum/thumbsup.gif&* http://www.flyertalk.com/travel/fttravel_forum/thumbsup.gif does this topic have to do with BIDDING. Just because BIDDING was mentioned you seem obliged, obligated and immediately auto-directed to crank-up your hot little computer keyboard and correct the only person (ie MisterNice) who responded to the reporters request. I do not believe you need to correct me, no matter how insidious my perceived cyber-crime is to you. Are you now a commishioned and sanctioned FT Moderator? I really admire the present FT ones with their restraint but they-are-there-when-needed presence.

I was simply trying to direct the very nice reporter to a better place on FT to put her question. Oh yes, she left an email for me, I called her soon after and we chatted for 30 min or whatever on subjects of her choosing (and my dime). She thanked me prolifically for my knowledge, time, and information and she seemed pleased to obtain it. Hopefully she will quote it accurately. She said she would and I believe her.

I am sorry you are (again) upset..........(yeah, RIGHT!)

And I have a simple single question for you......."Have you ever been pleased with ANYTHING, EVER?" (excluding what you or your cadre of itsa-our-duty-to-correct-the-dumb-posters clones write)

MisterNice

ps: where did "Hotwire" come from?
