Since there are a bunch of Flyertalkers in Chicago, or those who can get there cheap, I thought I'd post the results of a bid on Priceline.
If you bid on Chicago, and then choose Chicago suburbs, you'll see that Priceline offers resorts in the Bloomingdale/Itsaca zone. The only hotel that could fit this description is the Indian Lakes resort,

I checked this hotel's regular rates through travelweb for a weekend in September and it came up at $129 a night. I got my bid accepted at $55/night+$5 bonus for the weekend, and since a slightly lower bid was rejected I know that's pretty much the best you can get it at -- half price.
For $5 bonus money, see the thread from Arzee earlier in this forum, and click on that link first.
So if you want to get away cheap, go ahead and give it a shot. If people are interested, I'll post a review after I get there in September. Good luck!
