First post on FlyerTalk, but a long-time lurker...

I'm sending my husband on a fishing trip to Juneau next week. He plans to fish for halibut for a week, then bring home his catch in coolers (as he did pre-9/11). My question to the knowledgable FT'ers out there - where do we find any information about new restrictions, requirements, etc., for coolers full of fish coming home on Alaska and United Airlines? I've checked both Alaska's and United's website for their baggage policies - but cannot find any information specifically about coolers full of fish. Any help would be greatly appreciated - thank you!

nothings changed regarding checking seafood. It should be packed to last 48 hours without refrigeration.

Thanks, missydarlin - no changes on weight restrictions either (from 60 pounds limit to 50 pounds limit)?
