Hi,
My friend and I have 2 free travel vouchers for bumping off oversold flights on Alaska airlines that are about to expire and we are considering flying in mid-March from SFO to Fairbanks. Our justification in doing this is that we might as well get the most out of the free tickets distance & price wise, we might possibly see the northern lights and we allready went to Cancun on our other 2 free tickets in December.

Anyone here familiar with Fairbanks in March?. Will there be enough to do for 2 days and 3 nights, and what are the chances of seeing northern lights?.
