We will be driving in from Whitehorse for a day and perhaps a night here. Any suggestions for things to do? Is the boat trip to Haines or Juneau worth it? Is it not to be missed? Similar question for the Yukon & White Pass train tour. Any comments greatly appreciated.

Cannot comment on the boat rides but the Whitehorse Yukon train ride is a must do on any trip. We took it in conjunction with a visit to the Gold mining camp. The trip was by the train to the summit in Canada and the return was by bus which stopped in the old gold mining camp.
Spectacular scenary on the train and we even saw a few bears.
