I'm looking into the possibility of spending May - August in South Africa and was wondering if anyone has any suggestions.

I'd really enjoy taking an extended safari/camping tour throughout Southern Africa, possibly one of those 30-40 day ones. Does anyone have any opinions about these safaris? What types of people do you encounter? How many are in your group? Are long tours like this going out this time of year?

The othe question I have is related to month long living in Cape Town. Can it be easily done at an affordable price? Are there places that rent rooms for a month? It is really important for me to have internet acess (I'll be brining my laptop). What suggestions can you provide for obtaining reasonably fast internet access? Wi-fi anyone? Thanks
