Will be transitting Milan on 29-30 June 2002. Flying in on BA from London and staying at the Marriott. Taking the train to Zurich the next day. I have been to Rome, Naples, Sicily, and Aviano, but never to Milan. What is the best transport? Taxi? Any tips from those who have trod this path will be greatly appreciated.

I am unsure where the Marriot is but I have enjoyed taking the train from MXP to downtown. Automatic ticket machines are available in the terminal and the trains are relatively frequent.

Take the Malpensa Express Train. Its reasonable fast and beats getting stuck in traffic.
