My friend are going to BOG for a week. Where do we go etc and do for two 20 something year olds. Would anyone recomend treking to CCS. for the return? Looking to have fun and see culture etc.. How are intercolumbia airfare?

Ryan, you are suggesting 2 of the more dangerous cities you could go to. The "types of trip" you have had in other places (from your first-hand accounts) just can't happen here if you expect to be safe and alive. I personally have never been to either, and they aren't on my list for the forseeable future, especially after having spoken with locals. This "advice" is from someone who has been to Mexico City at least a dozen times and not hesitant to return.

EastBay my friend this is exactly why we plan to go http://www.flyertalk.com/travel/fttravel_forum/smile.gif And we plan to not be stupid. I give our return rate if we travel across to Caracas a 80% or higher. To most people this is crazy stupid etc. But I am one who likes these kind of things. I do plan to be smart though on this trip for sure. What about Guyana or Suriname? Looking for a week or so of pure differentness. Another words we want to experience what very few tourists have experienced.
