Transit Hotel tells me they are full on my arrival night. This is from the airport web site. Anyone have any experience of these?
Airport rest Areas
Make your way down to our Rest Areas, located along the central window isles, for hours of relaxation on our specially designed snooze chairs. These comfortable leather chairs come with head and leg rests giving you the ultimate relaxation. And there are lounge chairs in quiet dark areas of the terminal, where you can get a couple of hours of sleep.
Any other suggestions for hanging out until the MRT starts up?

I'm going to move this over to Travel where you can hit a SIN specific audience.
(I also have a response for you when we get there....) http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/smile.gif

I'm gathering that from your comment about the MRT that you are heading into SIN proper.
Why not take a cab (just a few US $) into the city... sit and relax at Boat Quay or wander over to Lau Pa Sat for a midnight snack...
If that isn't your game, the shower facility at the transit hotel (which is at the gym, not the hotel) has workout facilities and clean, spacious shower rooms. After that, head over to the internet stations or grab a bite to eat if you don't feel like leaving the airport.
If you are looking to rest, there are plenty of places to grab ZZzzzzz's... but don't let the MRT being down keep you from having something to do. http://www.flyertalk.com/travel/fttravel_forum/smile.gif

Thanks Techgirl....I am heading to the Conrad for 2 nights but I hoped to spend the small hours at the Transit Hotel then show up and beg for early check in....good idea to take a shower, hang out at the Ehub and chill....
Maybe I can get another night on my award stay. Its such great value with PS...Good to hear there are Comfy chairs available as referenced by the Changi web site. http://www.flyertalk.com/travel/fttravel_forum/smile.gif
What's at the Boat Quay? Its my first trip to SIN so I don't know the ropes yet.
What time exactly are you arriving? I rocked up for an award stay at 6am with no problems and no extra charges at another asian hilton property this month.

Arriving 12.45 am on NW from NRT. Just had an email from the Transit hotel putting me on wait list. Apparently there are no shows every night as you don't have to make a res with a CC.
