I am going to be in Singapore Late Wed. night March 5th until early morning March 12th.
I would like to go to either Vientiane Laos or Phnum Phenh Cambodia or do both for a total of 3 to 6 nights, from Singapore. I need advice on most economical way to do this;( fly, or fly & bus from somewhere in Thialand)
A travel agent I can use in SIN,
any tips you might have on arranging this and for those that have been to one or more of the locations-things to do and things to avoid.

You may find that it is a lot cheaper to do your flying out of Johor Baru. Take a bus from Copthorne Orchid Hotel to JB Airport (cheap - like $7). We just flew around Malaysia but we paid $128 vs $400 out of SIN. If you only have 3 days in Cambodia, just go to the ruins. You won't have time for Phnom Penh as well. We loved it!
