I'm going to be in Tokyo for a few days soon and I wanted to spend my last night in a capsule hotel just for fun. I've read of several instances where foreigners are turned away even though they are not full. Is this common or is it rare? I'd like to hear some specific recommendations from anyone who's stayed in one.
