A quick check on the Tokyo Hakozaki TCAT website (http://www.tcat-hakozaki.co.jp/eng/t-cat_guide/index2.html) shows a much shorter list of airlines than before. Did anyone recently see KE, NW or any * carrier (all missing from the list)?

I haven't checked in at TCAT post 9/11, but was told recently that some airlines operating there did not allow luggage check-in at TCAT any more. Can someone confirm?

Also, is it possible to have the emigration formalities done at TCAT without having checked in? It never occurred to me to ask since I always did both check-in + emigration when going through TCAT.

No...if you can't check luggage can't complete emigration.

Don't know if airlines have cut back...wouldn't be surprising post 9/11
